The Mad Honey we use comes from remote, mountainous areas of Nepal. This is pure mad honey, known as “cliff honey” or पागल मह, by the locals from high in the mountains of Lamjung Nepal.

Mad Honey comes from the pollen of certain rhododendron varieties. Compounds called grayanotoxins are found in the flowers of the plant and these compounds hop a ride on the bees and make their way into the honey.
